Hi, I am Pastor Craig Campbell and along Barbara we would like to introduce ourselves to you and the communities that make up the Beaver Valley. Barbara and I have been married for 36 years, we have three adult sons and three granddaughters. Craig is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity degree at Wesley Biblical Seminary, while Barbara is active, facilitating discipleship groups and is facilitator with the nationally recognized Grief Share ministry.
We are excited about the opportunities that will be coming this year in our neighborhood and in this the community as we continue preparations to open the church on the corner of Shenango Road and Wallace Run Road. We have named the church Venture Church @ Beaver Falls.
Why Venture? In the Bible, our relationship with Christ is often referred to as ‘a walk’, or a journey, and there will be times when this journey will become daring, or even exhilarating, with a sense of adventure. This journey or venture, brings a fuller or deeper experience, especially when this journey is taken with others. At Venture @ Beaver Falls we will learn to love God, love others and serve others, together, in our community.
As the church takes shape, our vision will be simple, relevant, with biblical messages that will challenge and encourage each one of us. We strive to create a relaxed and welcoming contemporary worship service.
In the meantime, we are preparing to start a Bible study in the home or in the church this year. However, due to the covid-19 virus, we plan to start this process by utilizing a platform called “Zoom” which will allow us to meet during this time. This will be a great opportunity to meet each other, and after we come through this Covid-19 pandemic, we can meet in person and share fellowship, a light meal and a cup of coffee together. I would like to hear from you if you are interested and please share this with anyone who may be.
VISION OF VENTURE CHURCH @ BEAVER FALLS
This vision that we share is what the Lord has given us and we we believe that the Lord wants Venture Church @ Beaver Falls to become. This vision will create a mental image that will motivate each of us and hopefully, all the people who hear this message. One of our objectives in sharing this vision is that we want everyone who comes to Venture Church to know why they come to our church. Our prayer is that when they see this vision, when they understand the foundation and purpose of this vision, that they will be able to share and articulate the vision, becoming an ambassador for the church and the kingdom.
Venture Church @ Beaver Falls has a adopted a radically simple vision, one that coexists and magnifies the core values that we embrace.
We will be:
Knowing and Loving God in our Worship
Growing and Loving others in Small Group Ministries
Going and Serving Together in our communities
This vision that we have adopted will requires us to stay grounded and connected to the source of our affection and worship and it refocuses us on our immediate need; which is knowing God. This quote from A. W.Tozer sums it up nicely “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”
Our Core Values define Venture Church@ Beaver Falls:
C - Christ Centered
O - Orientated to Mission
R - Relevant Relationships
E - Embrace Evangelism
At Venture we proclaim that we as a body of believers are/have :
V - Victorious IN Christ
E - Equipped IN Christ
N - New birth IN Jesus Christ

These core values are practical, biblical and they will drive our church. These values embody a constant, long lasting affirmation of who we are and they should cause us to be passionate for the mission.
VENTURE CHURCH @ BEAVER FALLS - WHAT WE BELIEVE
One God who exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Deity of Jesus Christ, the Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
The Deity and Personality of the Holy Spirit.
The creation of man by a direct act of God, man’s fall into sin and the resulting corruption of the human race.
The provision of Redemption for all men through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The necessity of Repentance, including godly sorrow for sin and reformation of life.
Regeneration through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Justification by grace through faith of all who believe.
Sanctification by the Holy Spirit, producing holiness of heart and life.
The Resurrection of the dead and conscious future existence of all men
The Second Coming of Christ in power and glory.
The future Judgment of both the just and unjust issuing eternal rewards and punishment of all men.
The Church which is instituted by Christ and composed of all believers in Christ as Savior.
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, to be the only true rule of faith and practice. We hold it to be wholly and verbally given by God and therefore without error in all of its teachings.
Furthermore, we are historically a part of the Wesleyan-Methodist tradition with it’s unique distinctive of “Scriptural Holiness” and belong to the Primitive Methodist Church, USA.
